About
Judezmo is a Romance language spoken by the Sephardic Jews that were forced out of their homes in Spain and Portugal. The displaced Jews fled to parts of Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Africa where many were forced to adopt Christianity and learn the language of their new country. Now, Judezmo has been replaced in the younger generation by the official language of their home country, and barely any children speak it as their native language.
